Research

We surveyed 33 participants about journaling, mediation, and targeted questions about beverage choice and consumption.

Users that are already utilizing a form of notes taking app will enjoy journaling about their favorite beverages, their tasting experiences, and sharing those entries with friends and family.

User Persona

Meet Beth. She's 32 years old. She is in recovery from an illness in which she lost her sense of taste and smell. She enjoys learning about tea and wants to utilize all 5 senses.

Storyboard

Wireframe

We started with some paper sketches to get a basic idea of the layout. From there we did a low fidelity wireframe.

Testing

We did do usability and guerilla testing along with A/B testing. Users really did want an option to manually enter in their own drink options and also a five star rating for their drinks.

Conclusion

We were able to successfully create a great prototype using research, testing, wireframing, prototyping, testing and more testing. There's still more that can be iterated on but it was such a great experience to work with such great people on a wonderful app idea.

We created an info site for our Steward app. Check it out to learn a little more!
